We departed lovely Kungsviken at around 0830, headed out for a long transit to Rörö. The weather and sea state were perfect, and we had great visibility. After dropping off our good friend Fredrick in Ellös, we were alone on our boat for the first time! The route we chose was excellent, albeit tricky, with navigation through numerous islands, partially submerged rocks, reefs, etc. Paul put both sails up to help with swell, but we motored as well as we needed to make at least 6 knots. Arrival at Rörö entailed the usual excellent instructions from Paul and Laura’s first (and successful!) docking bow to quay. Paul hooked a line through the mooring buoy to our stern and we snugged in for the night. Skipper’s meeting for the eskader (flotilla) to Læsø in Denmark at 2000.
